Looking Back, Moving Forward: How EduSkills Is Powering a New Era for ML Support

A New School Year, A Renewed Mission

As educators step into a new school year, there’s a shared sense of urgency and opportunity. Multilingual learners are at the forefront of conversations in both policy and practice, and schools are looking for better tools, deeper insight, and stronger systems to support them.

That’s been the EduSkills mission from the very beginning. Since 2011, we’ve worked to provide personalized support for educators and multilingual communities, growing and evolving alongside the needs of the field. Now, as we begin the 2025–26 school year, we’re building on that foundation with new tools, powerful updates, and a bold vision for what’s next.

A Look Back: 2011–2024

EduSkills began in 2011 with a simple but transformative idea from Dr. Taylor Tribble, former EL teacher, district administrator, and technologist: use technology to streamline systems so educators can focus on what matters most—student learning.

From simplifying paperwork and compliance logs to generating Title III funding, the platform has always aimed to lighten the administrative load while elevating support for multilingual learners. Today, our team brings more than 330 years of combined ed-tech experience, partnering with over 150 districts, from small communities to systems serving 200150,000 students, ensuring data drives meaningful instruction.

But what truly sets EduSkills apart is the people behind the platform. With tailored on-site visits, responsive training, and unwavering customer support, districts often describe us as “part of our EL team,” taking on the heavy lifting so educators can focus on students.

Inspired by Educators, Built for Impact

Every update, feature, and resource we create is guided by one principle: educators deserve tools that genuinely make their work easier.

Since day one, we’ve grown by listening—to EL coordinators, compliance leads, and classroom teachers navigating real-world challenges. That feedback loop continues to shape our innovation today.

Whether it’s simplifying file transfers, expanding admin access, or reimagining how classroom instruction is tracked, our newest updates reflect what educators have consistently asked for: greater clarity, control, and time to focus on students.
